Mission Statement

 

          The mission of Frank Hughes School is to enhance learning so that students can meet or exceed academic standards while reaching their potential in a safe and caring environment so that they may become productive citizens.

 

Beliefs

 

1.     We will prepare our students mentally, physically, and emotionally for all challenges.

2.     This school will provide students with knowledge necessary to become productive and contributing citizens to society.

3.     Our school has a responsibility to educate students in a safe, moral environment.

4.     Frank Hughes has a responsibility to cooperate with the community by working to meet its needs, instilling its values, and living up to its highest expectations.

5.     All individuals have unique strengths and personalities, and we will create an awareness of these to increase success.

 

Vision

 

          The vision for Frank Hughes School is for our students to experience the highest quality education possible.  Since they will be academically challenged, students will be expected to make yearly progress as defined by the state curriculum.

 

          Being believers in the “No Child Left Behind” concept, teachers will work one-on-one with students as needed.  Teachers are always to model appropriate behavior and focus on quality teaching and student learning.
